Gas Works Park, Seattle Washington

The Gas Works Park is an interesting reuse of an old crude oil manufacturer. It stands today as an interactive industrial piece of archeology, just on the edge of the bay. A little green hill next to the boilers offers a great view of the downtown. Most importantly, it’s a reminder to the upper class that dominate Seattle of fragile technology in the wider view of civilization. Although it was raining when I visited, there were families with children flying kites and toy planes, joggers, and foreign tourists, visitors of very different demographics.
