Alter Studio designed the Texas Hillel Foundation for Jewish Life in Austin, completed 2006.
The steel panel extrusions with solid brick walls on one side of the building is interrupted by ribbons of windows. The sunny side, by contrast, is filled with glazing and screens of wood stripes. This contrast of form is reflected inside with stair railings. |
