Palais des Congrès de Montréal, Québec

Tétreault, Parent, Languedoc and Associates expanded the Palais des congrès de Montréal convention center in Montreal, Canada, completed in 2002.

It sits above the city’s main artery, and it is connected directly to 4,000 hotel rooms. With 332 bright colored glass panels on the exterior curtain wall illuminate an otherwise utilitarian interior.

Claude Cormier contributed the lipstick forest Winter garden at the convention center, a forest of bright red trees that serve as structural columns. Located at the heart of downtown, the building has become a social staple.
