Friedensreich Hundertwasser designed the Hundertwasserhaus Wien in Wien, Austria. Architects Joseph Krawina and Peter Pelikan realized the project, completed in 1986.
The colorful and organic surfaces are covered by 250 bushes and trees. Intellectuals and elites mainly occupy the pricey apartments and office units. Oddly placed mosaic tiles and falling fountain water bring a surreal atmosphere.
