Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, Uppsala Sweden

Henning Larsen Tegnestue designed the Uppsala Konsert & Kongress, completed in 2007. The modern, woven outer facade slightly conceals a vast, open interior. At 121ft tall, it has 8 floors and 14,600m2 of space. It is also called the Musikens hus, as it is a major venue for concerts and music events in the city. Located in the middle of the city, it’s blue horizontal strip of windows affords sweeaping views of the city’s historic castle and cathedral.
