The New Suvarnabhumi, Bangkok International Airport in Thailnad came after 30 years of planning. Helmut Jahn of Murphy/Jahn Architects designed this It’s one of the biggest airports in Asia with two parallel runways.
Enormous pavilions float gingerly in modules of curved white pavilion. The feat of engineering these structures has been praised. The cost is said to be over $3 billion total. Werner Sobek Ingenieure achieved the engineering and Transsolar Energietechnik did climate control. It opened in 2006.
