National Museum of Korea, Yongsan-gu Seoul South Korea

Chang-Il Kim of Junglim Architects designed the new National Museum of Korea building, completed in 2005 in Seoul.

The building is divided into two parts with an exterior plaza in between. The three floors are further divided into archeological exhibits, historical documents, fine arts, donations, and Asian arts. The vast building has a fine stone interior that interacts with the water element in front and the mountain scenery behind.
