Kohn Pedersen Fox, Arup, and The Jerde Partnership designed the Mori Tower in Roppongi Hills Tokyo, completed in 2003. Roppongi is a new urban development that brings modern flair to mixed-use buildings. The glass facade rolls and gently curves in revealing layers. The 54 story building includes a museum, restaurant, stores, and offices. Total floor area is 380,105 m². It is in the center of a group of highrises and the staple of the high living. The project put the Mori company $5.6 billion in debt.
