Mix Lounge, Las Vegas Nevada

The Mix Lounge at the Mandalay Bay Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada was designed especially for French chef Alain Ducasse. This $15 million project by Patrick Jouin was completed in 2004. The world’s largest chandelier with 15,000 hand-blown Murano glass balls hangs above a lavish dining area. The dining area is accessed by a tight steel corridor. Glowing tables and seats are arranged within sweeping views of the strip on both sides of the restaurant. A tall wine-case of 5,000 bottles showcases what the lounge is all about. Egg-shaped “cocoon” furniture seating is elegant and stylish. The bar is presented with a red corral-like ceiling.
