Media City, University of Salford Manchester

Benoy Architects designed the Mediacity complex in Salford, UK in 2007. A variety of architects designed buildings within the plan, including Salford University facilities and offices for the BBC. The Imperial War museum stands across from the docklands.

Cushman & Wakefield plan several stages for the complex, with a total occupancy of 15,000 people. Phase 1 is due for completion this year and includes 500,000ft2 of office, studios, apartments, and hotels. Emphasis is made on green on sustainability and green space in the urban corridors. Peel Holdings is the developer.
