Lippo Centre, Hong Kong

Paul Rudolph of Wong and Ouyang Architects designed the Lippo Centre (Bond Center) in Hong Kong, completed in 1988. The 186 twin towers extrude in digitized patterns, breaking the typical extreme skyscraper face. They rise from a 4 story podium of retail space. The landmark structure stands next to the Bank of China tower, IFC, and the HSBC building.
