Metier 3 Architects and Meinhardt consultants designed the facade for 717 Bourke Street in Melbourne’s Docklands. The 17 floor building is 17m high and is joined by a pedestrian bridge and garage park. Fins project from the facade with a special frit pattern. Several floors tilt in opposite directions. This is only a facade effect, however, as the inside structure is a normal steel truss system. Its sustainable design earned it a 4 star green rating.
