Ásmundarsafn Museum, Reykjavik Iceland

Modernist Ásmundur Sveinsson designed the Reykjavik Art Museum for his sculpture displays in Iceland, completed in 1983. Untrained in architectural design, the artist merged Mediterranean elements with Northern and Egyptian ideas. The white form and open windows allow plenty of daylight to enter in this dark country.
